Marinoff Design is an independently owned graphic design studio led by Catherine Marinoff, dedicated to helping clients refine and elevate their visual identities through strategic design solutions.

Marinoff’s passion for design began in childhood and evolved into a career after earning a BA in Communication Arts from East Carolina University. With expertise spanning graphic design, brand development, and visual communication, she has held key roles in industries including trade associations, printing, and signage manufacturing.

As Prepress Manager at Accurate Printing in the 1990s, Marinoff led the transition to computer-to-plate technology, expanding the team and optimizing production workflows. Her leadership continued as Production Manager for the International Franchise Association, where she oversaw in-house design, event marketing, and print production.

In 2008, she founded Marinoff Design in Pawleys Island, SC, offering freelance design services to trade associations and businesses. She has played a pivotal role in editorial design, branding, and typography for organizations such as the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Her contributions include rebranding initiatives, corporate reports, and event graphics.

Marinoff’s dedication to design excellence has been consistently recognized, earning her over 20 consecutive years of American Graphic Design Awards of Excellence from Graphic Design USA. Her work has also received accolades from APEX, ASAE’s Salute to Excellence, APRO, Printing Industries of Virginia, and Printing Industries of America.

Beyond her professional achievements, she enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and daughters, drawing inspiration from the ocean, mountains, and outdoor adventures.
